The SPBC Men’s Ministry aims to equip men to pursue godliness as men.

Men’s Reading & Accountability Group

Our Men’s Reading & Accountability Group meets every couple of weeks on Thursdays at 6:30-8:00am. For the first hour, we meet as a large group to discuss and apply an assigned reading. For the most part, we try to read classic pieces of Christian literature by the theological giants of the past. For the final half hour of our time, we break out into smaller groups for prayer and accountability. Our aim is to help one another grow in love for Jesus and put our sin to death by the Spirit. More info? Email seth@sterlingparkbc.org

The world, the flesh, and the devil. When we think of the biggest threats to our Christian faith, these (and all of their attendant temptations) are the things that we typically think of. And these are certainly huge dangers!

But the truth is, there is another danger which we rarely consider - one that is just as dangerous but even more subtle.

We invite you to join us at our 2024 Men’s Retreat as we prayerfully consider how to fight one of the greatest dangers we almost never think about: the danger of drifting.

Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. - Hebrews 2:1

SPEAKER

This year’s speaker is Joe Novenson. For many years, Joe served as senior pastor at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Joe and his wife, Barb, have three children and four grandchildren. We are very honored to have him with us!
