"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, 'I have no pleasure in them.'"
We believe God has designed the local church as the context where all people can know God and grow in relationship with Him. At SPBC, we are blessed to have among us many young people who are growing into adulthood. We desire our church to be a source of instruction, encouragement, and challenge—a healthy environment for youth to mature spiritually.
Here is what SPBC Youth Ministry looks like:
Youth Sunday School, 9:30-10:15 AM
We meet on Sunday mornings to study God’s word and apply it to our lives.
Sunday PM Youth Group, 6-7PM (2nd and 4th Sunday’s of the month)
We meet on Sunday evenings for a time of pizza and reflection on the morning sermon.
We have grade and gender divided discipleship groups for the youth to help them mature and grow in their faith.
Once a month we meet up for social events at the homes of church members. We also have various trips during year such as hikes, amusement park trips, and tubing.
*All 6th-12th graders are welcome to these events, with the consent of their parents.
If you have any questions or would like know about locations and upcoming events, please feel free to contact Mike Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org) our Assistant Pastor.
